Wealth Management in Middletown, NJ
We bring your investments, retirement accounts, tax considerations, insurance and legacy wishes into one plan. Every recommendation starts with a plain question: what could go wrong, and how do we protect you from it? Then we build toward your goals.
What wealth management means with us
Many clients come to us with accounts scattered across old employers, a brokerage app, a bank and a policy bought years ago. Each piece made sense when it was opened. Together, nobody is watching how they fit, and that is where risk hides: overlapping holdings, beneficiary forms that no longer match your wishes, or more exposure to one company than you realized.
Wealth management is the ongoing work of looking at all of it as one picture. We are Series 66 and SIE licensed, which lets us advise on investments, and we also hold a life insurance license. That means protection for your family is part of the same conversation instead of a separate sales pitch from someone else.
Our first priority is keeping what you have built safe. Growth matters, but not at the cost of a plan that keeps you up at night. We meet at our office, or by phone and video if that suits you better.
What the work includes
A full inventory of your accounts
We list every account, policy and major asset in one place, with how each is titled and who the beneficiaries are. Most clients find at least one detail that needs attention.
Risk review before returns
We look at concentration, liquidity and how much of a market drop your plan could absorb. You see the downside clearly before we talk about upside.
Investment management
We build and oversee a portfolio that matches your timeline and comfort with risk, then rebalance when it drifts. Our investment management page covers this in more detail.
Retirement and income coordination
We map when money will be needed and which accounts it should come from, so withdrawals are planned instead of rushed.
Tax and legacy awareness
We consider how decisions affect your taxes and what passes to your family. We work alongside your accountant and attorney rather than replacing them.
Insurance as protection, not a product push
We check whether your family would be covered if your income stopped. Sometimes the answer is that you already have enough, and we will tell you so.
Signs it may be time for wealth management
Your accounts live in too many places
If you need several logins and a spreadsheet to know your net worth, things are easy to miss.
A big life change just happened
An inheritance, a business sale, a retirement date, a marriage or a loss. Each one shifts what your money needs to do.
You're not sure how much risk you carry
If a bad market year would surprise you, your portfolio may not match your comfort level. A review shows where you stand.
Beneficiaries haven't been checked in years
Old forms can send money to an ex-spouse or skip a grandchild. It's one of the simplest safeguards to fix.
You'd like one person who sees everything
Separate advisors for investments, insurance and retirement can give advice that pulls in different directions.
How we work with you
- 1
Introductory meeting
We talk about your goals, your family and what worries you most about money. You decide whether working together makes sense, with no pressure either way.
- 2
Gathering the full picture
You share statements, policies and plan documents. We organize them and note any risks or gaps we find.
- 3
A written plan you can follow
We walk you through our recommendations in plain language, including what each change protects against and why. Nothing moves until you agree.
- 4
Careful implementation
We make changes step by step, watching tax impact and timing, and keep you informed along the way.
- 5
Regular reviews
We meet on a set schedule and whenever life changes, adjusting the plan as your goals and the markets shift.
What affects the cost
Wealth management fees depend on how much work your situation takes. We explain how we are paid at the start, in writing, so there are no surprises later. Here is what usually moves the cost.
- Size and number of accounts
- More accounts and more assets mean more to monitor, rebalance and report on.
- Complexity
- Business ownership, stock options, rental property or multiple family members to plan for all add time and care.
- How many services you use
- Some clients want full coordination across investments, retirement, tax and legacy. Others need a narrower scope.
- Meeting frequency
- How often you'd like to review the plan together affects the ongoing work involved.

How is wealth management different from financial planning?
Financial planning creates the roadmap. Wealth management is the ongoing work of carrying it out, overseeing your portfolio and adjusting as life changes. Many clients start with financial planning and move into wealth management once the plan is in place.
Do I need a lot of money to work with you?
Not necessarily. What matters more is whether you have enough moving parts that coordination helps. We can talk about fit during the introductory meeting.
Will you make changes to my accounts without asking?
No. We explain each recommendation and what it protects against, and nothing changes until you approve it. You will always know what we are doing and why.
Can I keep my current accountant and attorney?
Yes, and we encourage it. We coordinate with the professionals you already trust so your tax and legacy decisions line up with your investment plan.
Do I have to come to your office?
Not at all. Many clients from Holmdel, Red Bank and nearby towns meet at our office, while others prefer phone or video. We work the way that is easiest for you.
